I find where your business is losing time and money to its own paperwork, and I build the fix.

Invoices that take a night to chase. Two software bills for the same job. The spreadsheet only one person understands. Practical work, priced up front, done by someone from here.

What I do

Built things, not a binder of advice.

Weekdays I'm a developer and analyst at a large company, finding waste in how the work gets done and building tools so it stops. Most of what I build is invisible once it's running: the report shows up, the reminder goes out, the numbers are right.

A few from the last year:

  1. 01

Caught a report counting the same money three times

A spending summary headed for leadership was quietly double- and triple-counting rows. I check numbers against the real books before anyone sees them. This one didn't survive the check.

  2. 02

Turned a 25-minute form job into two minutes

A task the team did by hand, over and over, in a system with no shortcut. I found one. Twenty-three minutes back, every time, forever.

  3. 03

Email that sorts itself and drafts the reply

An inbox tool that reads what came in, files it, writes a suggested answer, and waits for a human to say yes. Nothing goes out without a person approving it. That last part is the whole design.

  4. 04

Found why a customer's call kept going to the wrong desk

Three teams had looked for days. It was one stale phone number on one record. Most problems in a business are like this: small, hidden, and expensive until someone goes and looks.

For a business your size, that looks like

If you already run on software, I'll work inside what you've got. If you run on a clipboard and a good memory, I'll build around that. Either way, nothing I leave behind depends on you learning a new program.

The starting point

The Business Snapshot

$2,000fixed

A day of me in your business and a week of me in your books.

You get a written report of what I found, ranked by what's worth doing first, with straight answers, including “this part's fine, don't spend money on it.” If there's something worth building, I'll quote it separately and you decide then.

How it works

Four steps. No surprises on the bill.

  1. A twenty-minute call

You tell me what's bugging you. I tell you whether I can help. If I can't, I'll say so.

  2. A few hours at your place

I come to you, on a day that works for you, evenings and Saturdays included. I watch how the work actually happens and talk to whoever runs the office.

  3. A week in your books

Invoices, bills, software subscriptions, the spreadsheets. I look for what's leaking, what's duplicated, what's fixable.

  4. The report, in person

Ranked list, plain language, real dollar figures with the math shown. We walk through it together.
